Board of Directors


The FHFG Board of Directors serve terms that begin in May of each year. The 2021-22 Board of Directors includes:

President: Megan Havens

Megan is a social studies teacher in love with local history. She has an MA in Education from UC-Santa Cruz. She has served as President since 2019, having also served previously as FHFG president in the 1990s.

Vice-President: Eva Guggemos

Eva is the University Archivist and an Associate Professor at Pacific University, with an MLS and MA in History. She has a special interest in Native American issues. Eva has served as Vice President since 2022, and was previously Secretary from 2019-2022. She also serves as the IT team leader for FHFG. 

Treasurer: Travis Powers

Travis joined the FHFG board after buying an historic home in Forest Grove. He has degrees in Economics, Philosophy of History, and an MBA. He has served as FHFG's Treasurer since 2022. 


 Secretary: Emily Johns

Emily is an archivist at Pacific University with deep family roots in the Forest Grove community. She is a Pacific University alum with a BA in History, holds an MLS, and is currently working on an MA in Public History. She began serving as Secretary in 2022. 

Board Member: Martha Khoury

Martha has an MS degree and over 30 years of experience in Marketing. She has been an active member with FHFG since 1995 when she purchased a 1912 Craftsman bungalow. A past vice-president of FHFG, she leads our Marketing team. 


Board Member: Melody Haveluck

Melody has lived in Forest Grove for 30 years and has been involved with FHFG since 2007. A well known member of the community, she loves Forest Grove’s diverse history. Melody leads our Membership Committee and is also active in our Historic Properties Recognition Team, our Landmarks Board connection, and many other Event committees. 


 Board Member: Mary Jo Morelli

Mary Jo is a founding member of FHFG and is co-author of the book Images of America: Forest Grove. She has spent 30 years working to preserve the AT Smith House.

Board Member: Ashley Roth

Ash is a passionate and active member of the Forest Grove community! She is the manager of our Museum & Library at the Old Train Station and is an active leader in our social media channels. 


 Board Member: Cilicia Philemon

Cilicia has been a Realtor for over 30 years and is a long-term member of FHFG . She assists on many FHFG events and projects. 


 Board Member: Stephanie Rose

Stephanie Rose is a Forest Grove resident and a newer member of FHFG, with a passion for history and equity issues. She has assisted with events and is working on IT support projects.
