    Each event is planned to include beverages (wine and non-alcoholic), snacks, and music. Events are scheduled for Sunday afternoons 2:00 - 4:00 pm, except for August. Individual tickets will be $10 each with discounts for members and students, and additional discount for a season pass.

    • June 26 Open House + Garden in Blooming area, sponsored by Sidereus Winery
    • July 17 Open Garden in Gales Creek + Gales Creek Schoolhouse Museum
    • August 13, Saturday, 10 am – noon, Mimosas and Muffins in Forest Grove Garden

    Oscar Brown House c1895

    Open House at Oscar Brown House, sponsored by Dauntless Wine Co. 

    In the Walker-Naylor Historic District Northwest Forest Grove. Believed to be the first house on the block, and originally built without indoor plumbing or electricity. Loving down-to-the-stud renovation of this 1895 house revealed many original architectural elements and merited the Eric G. Stewart Award for Historic Preservation for previous owners in 2018.

    New owners have added some beautiful finishing touches!

    Visitors will enjoy live music by Mark Adams, Phil Clark and friends, as well as light refreshment in a park-like setting. (All tickets include one beverage (wine or non-alcoholic) and light snack.)

    This is the annual meeting for our members, where we elect new board members and officers, and feature a visiting speaker on a topic related to the history of Forest Grove. A light snack will be offered.

    Two neighboring gardens will be open in the southeast section of Forest Grove. Both featuring rainwater collection, these two neighboring gardens are a contrast in styles. One includes a vast collection of plants and the other is an urban farm garden. The nearby A.T. Smith House with Abigail's Garden will also be open to visitors for this event.

    Visitors will enjoy live music by local favorites Christine Guenther, Laura Frye, and Kathy Walden, as well as light refreshments. (All tickets include one beverage (wine or non-alcoholic) and light snack.)

    You may have driven by this hidden gem a hundred times -- opening today for a rare look into this charming home and garden.

    We are grateful to have the new local winery, Sidereus providing wine for this event!

    This is our annual members' picnic, usually held outdoors at the A. T. Smith House in Forest Grove. More information about this event will be posted here when we are closer to the date.

    Open Garden in Gales Creek + Gales Creek Schoolhouse Museum

    Let your cares melt away -- relax to the sounds of the creek and the birds in this large Gales Creek-area country garden. Enjoy pleasant live music and get a rare glimpse of local history as the 100-year-old Gales Creek Schoolhouse will be open to showcase the museum.

    All tickets include one beverage (wine or non-alcoholic) and light snack.

    Mimosas and Muffins in Forest Grove Garden: August 13, Saturday, 10 am – noon 

    The last venue of our series is back to the Walker Naylor District. This wonderful, whimsical garden is lovingly tended, and has a unique variety of plants.  The FHFG Museum at the Old Train Station will also be open during this event.

    Ticket includes one beverage (mimosa with champagne or non-alcoholic) and light snack.

    Please note this is a Saturday event.

    • Forest View Cemetery

    We are planning the return of our popular "Grave Matters" Forest Grove Cemetery Tour this October! This event features actors in period clothing, playing the roles of past residents who are buried in our local graveyard. More information will be added here when we are closer to the date of the event.
