Crossroads: Tribes, Missionaries and Farmers in early Forest Grove

  • 9 Mar 2022
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Zoom (Registration Required)

We invite you to a lecture by Eva Guggemos, Pacific University Archivist and FHFG Board Member, on the early history of Forest Grove from the 1830s-1850s. During these years, the Atfalati bands of the Kalapuya people still lived on and cared for their ancestral land, while the earliest missionaries and farmers began moving into the region. This special lecture is presented as part of Pacific University’s collaborative effort to acknowledge the 150th anniversary of Forest Grove.
